What’s in my Bridesmaid’s Proposal Boxes?
When it comes to an engagement, which is more exciting? The anticipation of getting to spend forever with the love of your life, or planning the ultimate proposal for your best gals? [clearly, it’s the marriage part, right? 😉]

When I first began the process of deciding what to put in my Bridesmaid Proposal Boxes, I was honestly overwhelmed with all of the available options. In order to curb my anxieties, I came up with a list of what I wanted my proposal boxes to include. Here is what I came up with:
- Something personal
- Something bubbly [a constant non-negotiable]
- Something they can bring to wedding events
- Something they can use in their real life
That last one was especially important to me. If you’ve ever been in a wedding, you’ve more than likely received a plethora of adorable wedding-related products, but few that you can actually use in your daily life. While I know the intention is pure and full of love, the gifts often end up collecting dust on a dresser or packed away in a closet, especially if you are like me and can’t throw anything sentimental away.
So, without further ado, here is how I created a Bridesmaid Proposal Box that checked all of my boxes!
First, I searched for inspiration on Pinterest and then used the White Polaroid Photo Instagram Post template on Canva.com to create a personalized proposal card. It was amusing to dig through the archives and find the perfect photo with each of my gals. It reminded me exactly why I was choosing them to stand beside me on the Big Day! I also used the Free Modern Simple Aesthetic Monthly Calendar template to circle our special date! I had the cards printed at my local Office Max where the sales agent worked with me to make sure they were perfect!
I am obsessed with how the cards turned out!

Next, for something bubbly! This was actually the easy part as sparkling rosé is pretty easy to come by at your local liquor store. But why be average when you can be extra? I was able to add a personal touch by purchasing these labels. Since we’re having a destination wedding, I had already technically asked my ladies via text message, that made these labels the perfect touch!
I had just two things left to tackle! Something they could bring to wedding events and something they could use in real life. This is when I turn towards the trends. With a bachelorette weekend in St. Pete Beach and a wedding in Mexico, what could be more necessary than sunglasses? To make matters better, they are a huge trend in the wedding world these days. I chose these heart-shaped glasses because they are high-quality and come in a variety of finishes. I cannot wait to see my girls in them during our trip!
Finally, after much resistance, I have accepted that not only is the claw-clip back in style, but it is also extremely convenient for throwing up your hair without ruining your blowout. I knew it was a gift they would use in their every day lives, exactly what the checklist called for. I used a similar strategy as I did for the sunglasses and chose these clips that came in a variety of colors I could specify to each girl’s personal style.
I had successfully curated the perfect Bridesmaid Proposal Box for my circle, but what was I going to put all the goodies in? I’m sure it comes as no surprise that a quick internet search will turn up an almost unlimited supply of gift box options. After much searching, I selected these glossy-finished boxes and couldn’t be happier with the result. They are durable and didn’t require any additional wrapping because they are already gorgeous.
Products in hand, ready to assemble and send them off, I was ecstatic for my gorgeous gals to receive them. Then, I was hit with a problem. While I hadn’t forgotten that my Maid-of-Honor lived in the beautiful state of Utah, it had slipped my mind about the state’s extremely strict alcohol laws. Since my beautiful bestie was not going to able to receive her specially labeled bubbly, I needed a Plan B. I went back to my friend the internet and found this adorable stemless wine glass. I then placed her label inside the box and got to keep her bubbly for myself! A win-win in my book!
It was like the onus of all wedding planning; something will always go wrong! What matters, is how you respond to it. I could not be happier with how the boxes turned out and my now official Bridal Party loved them!

Thinking about how to tackle those groomsmen? These groomsmen proposal cards are an amusing option. The cards and a bottle of their favorite drink, consider the task done!
